TAPS for 19000

12-17-19: Bastogne, Belgium. 75 years ago today, I was 13.  Crowding around our Battery operated Radio listening as those terrible losses begin to mount up to 19000. These terrible losses became known as the "Battle of the Bulge". I remember several survivors of this battle that were from our little Town.  Many suffered from what was then known as "Shell Shock". They were never the same after that.  You don't hear that term much any more...
They answered their Country's call and paid the price for you and me.  Today, I will in spirit, go to Bastogne and ask  UTUBE play TAPS for the loss of those 19000 Heros. Yes, just quietly say to yourself.  19000...
